Discriminatory harassment of any person or group of persons on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status is prohibited.
The Quills Conference offers opportunities for networking, learning, discussions, and interactions and is designed for the continued growth and success of aspiring and accomplished writers alike, regardless of what they write. We encourage attendees, staff, and faculty to take advantage of these opportunities to meet new people, build and sustain friendships, and develop professional relationships within our community. However, all social interactions come with certain responsibilities. Whether you are engaging with other attendees, staff, or our faculty which includes presenters, agents, editors, etc., we ask that you do so with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. By attending or being involved with the Quills Conference in any capacity, you agree that you have read this code of conduct and will adhere to it. We thank you for helping to ensure a friendly, safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for all.
The League of Utah Writers reserves the right to warn, remove, or disinvite anyone from our events without refund in situations of harassment or discrimination of any kind as determined by a quorum of the Executive Committee.
Respect is the basic rule while attending our conferences. Treat others with kindness, empathy, courtesy, politeness, and professionalism at all times. Always remember there are many attendees here who are hoping for the same opportunities to interact with our faculty and staff. Be mindful with your fellow attendees.
