Agents and Editors Taking Pitches:

  • Matt Belford - Tobias Literary Agency

Looking to represent adult science fiction and fantasy, in addition to graphic novels.

  • Zabé Ellor - Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency

Looking to represent YA, MG, adult commercial fiction & genre fiction.

  • Angie Hodapp - Nelson Literary Agency

Taking pitches for Kristin Nelson, Danielle Burby, Joanna Mackenzie, and Quressa Robinson. Acquiring novel-length fiction in all genres for the adult, young-adult, and middle-grade markets (no nonfiction, short-story collections, personal-essay collections, novellas, scripts, poetry, picture books, or chapter books/early readers at this time). Acquiring all genres, but especially interested in tightly plotted speculative fiction, thrillers, mainstream fiction, and women's fiction told in literary or upmarket voices; character-driven stories that are sweet, funny, charming, or poignant; #ownvoices stories written by authors in marginalized communities.

  • Kate Jonez - Omnium Gatherum Media

Publishing dark fantasy, weird fiction (the genre not just weird stuff) and horror. At this time, we are looking for novel or novella series. The first book should be complete and the subsequent books should be outlined. We may also consider stand alone novels with series potential. We are not open for stand alone novellas, collections or anthologies at the moment.

  • Christopher Morgan - Tor, Forge, and Nightfire Imprints of Tom Dohrety Associates

For Tor, looking for Epic Fantasy, Grimdark, Dark Fantasy, near future, character driven Science Fiction, and Space Operas. For Nightfire primarily looking for Atmospheric Horror and Southern Gothic Ghost stories. For Forge looking for fast paced, action driven thrillers and military and political thrillers.

  • Chantelle Aimeé Osman - Agora Books/Polis Books

Taking pitches for Agora an imprint of Polis Books, specializing in crime fiction focusing on social and cultural issues. Parent company Polis also focuses primarily on the mystery genre, but with a broader purview.

  • Adrienne Procaccini - 47North, an Imprint of Amazon Publishing

Acquiring Science fiction and fantasy.

  • Ally Robertson - The Wild Rose Press

Looking for mystery/suspense/thrillers, with or without romance. I love dark, creepy, and scary. But I also enjoy cozy mysteries and romantic suspense. I can take pitches for other genres--Historical, Paranormal, Women's Fiction, etc, but those may be transferred to a different editor. No YA, children's, no Inspirational.

  • Lesley Sabga - The Seymour Agency

Fiction, Young Adult, and Adult: Book Club Fiction, Fantasy, Romance, Mysteries/Thrillers, Women's Fiction
Middle Grade: Action/Adventure, Contemporary, Fantasy, Historical, Humor, Mysteries

  • Eric Smith - P.S. Literary Agency

Looking to represent Young Adult fiction and non-fiction across all genres, especially diverse and inclusive stories, commercial and literary fiction that does a bit of genre-blending (think The Time Traveler's Wife or Station Eleven), accessible sci-fi and fantasy novels (like The Martian or The Night Circus, no epics please), and non-fiction across all categories (memoir, essay collections, pop-history, cookbooks, you name it!).
